As a church, we want to be people who step out in obedience to what God is saying. We want each person to step out in all that God has given them, so we make space for people to share their stories, gifts, and talents. We step out together in partnership with God, understanding that we all have a part to play in bringing hope to the Cherwell Valley.
We step out:
In obedience: Stepping out means doing what God says - when God calls us to do something, we obey him. Often this will mean pioneering, trying new things that we haven’t done before.
Of our comfort zone: Often what God calls us to do involves stepping out of our comfort zone. We might not necessarily have all the skills or the resources on paper to do what God is calling us to do, but we trust God and have a go.
In faith: We trust that when we step out, God moves with us. Often we step out to find that God is already there, waiting for us to catch up. We know that God will do amazing things as we step out in faith and obedience to him. We know that God does what he says he will, and that he keeps his promises.
