As a church, we want to be people who listen to God. As we hear God’s voice, we want to be open to what God is doing amongst us, through us, and beyond us, as we seek to bring hope to the Cherwell Valley. We want to be people who are looking and listening for what God is doing next, and who prepare ourselves in obedience. We believe that God has big dreams for us as individuals and as a community, and we want to dream big with him!
Dreaming big starts with encountering God, with seeing God for who he really is, seeing more of his glory, his majesty, his awesomeness. As our vision of who God is grows, we begin to understand more of God’s big vision for us. Dreaming big leads to stepping out, praying big prayers and obeying God when he calls us to play our part in seeing his big dream become reality. As we dream of things that are only possible with God, he delights in partnering with us to see those dreams fulfilled.
As we dream big, we:
Ask God to reveal more of who he is, expecting encounter with him.
Listen to who God says we are, his big dreams for us individually and corporately.
Prepare to play our part in God's big dreams for the Cherwell Valley and beyond.
