The Gifts of the Spirit

Here at Lifehouse Community Church, we want to overflow with the life of the Spirit. We want to see the Holy Spirit move in power amongst us, transforming our hearts, our church, and the communities around us.

Our new teaching series explores some of the gifts of the Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12. It was in part born out of a sense of holy frustration, that we aren't moving in the Spirit as much as we could be as a church. We believe that the Spirit is moving now just as much as in the early church, it's us Christians who've stopped listening and obeying!

So our prayer is that over the course of this short teaching series, we will fall in love with the Holy Spirit once again. We want to be filled with his power and receive his gifts, and be released to operate in them freely, without fear of what other people might think. We want to see an increase in gifts of the Spirit in the life of the church, going deeper together in the life of the Spirit, and see that life and power flowing out in church on Sundays and in the wider community.
